Greca ~ Greek

Questi orecchini sono una vecchia creazione, quando li feci mi ispirai ai monili antichi e spero di essere riuscita nel mio intento, per questo li chiamai "Greca" perchè speravo fossero alla greca...
Sono realizzati con quarzo rosa, turchese e rame battuto. È stato alquanto difficile far combaciare rame e turchese della spirale e ancora adesso mi domando come io abbia fatto, però devo ammettere che ne sono particolarmente orgogliosa :)

Stavo pensando in questi giorni che vorrei farne una nuova coppia, dato che questi non sono più in vendita, ma anche perché vorrei iniziare una nuova collezione ispirata ai gioielli antichi e mi sembrava un buon punto di partenza inaugurarla con una mia interpretazione di orecchini antichi.
Nel caso siate interessati a questa coppia, sarò più che felice di crearla per voi :)

I made these earrings few years ago; taking inspiration from ancient jewellery, I hoped they seemed quite "old", that's also why I called them Greca, which means Greek in English.

I made them with rose quartz, turquoise and hammered copper. The making of the upper spiral (the one linked to turquoise) was quite difficult and I am still amazed that I did it, and - I have to admit - I'm so proud of it :)

In the last days I was thinking about making a new pair of them because this one isn't available anymore, but also because I was wondering to start a collection of jewelry inspired by ancient pieces and it seemed interesting that these earrings would be the starters of the new collection, do you agree?

Verde Ispirazione ~ Green Inspiration

Originariamente questi orecchini dovevano essere solo miei, perchè li avevo creati in un momento in cui impazzivo per il crisoprasio e sentivo di doverlo portare sempre con me e per questo feci gli orecchini, poi gli orecchini piacquero così tanto che ne ho fatte già quattro copie, tutte diverse l'una dall'altra e dalla prima.
Come potete vedere sono fatti con rame battuto, crisoprasio, perline di vetro e swarovski. Tutto fatto per ricordarmi della Terra, alla quale mi sento tanto legata e che amo così profondamente :)

Ho deciso di postare qui (e forse in futuro anche su uno shop online) le mie passate creazioni, quando il nome che avevo scelto per loro era diverso, e più di una volta ho cambiato il loro nome: in principio si chiamavano Doni di Ambrosia, poi Strix Creations, poi StregArte, ed ora Naturæ Cor, e spero vivamente di non cambiarlo più. Non stupitevi, quindi, se potreste ritrovarvi tra le mani una creazione con una di queste scritte o loro abbreviazioni (DdA = Doni di Ambrosia), sono tutte mie creature, tutte figlie del mio ingegno e fantasia.
Spero vi possano piacere e trovare finalmente una casa.

These earrings were meant to be just mine, because I made them when I fell in love with chrysoprase and I really wanted to wear it everyday, but they were so loved that I was forced to make other four pairs like them.
As you can see, these earrings are made with hammered copper, chrysoprase, glass&swarovski beads. I made them with these colours because I wanted them remembering about Earth, which I adore.

I decided to post here (and probably in the shop in the future) all the creations made in the past. If I think about my creations, I can't stop thinking about how many names I gave them and also changed: firstly their name was Doni d'Ambrosia, secondly Strix Creations, then StregArte, and now Naturæ Cor, and I have to admit that I hope not to change it again. Now that you know how many time I changed the name, don't be scared if you'll receive something with one of the previous names, because what you have in your hands is something that has sprouted thanks to my imagination and skills to transform my own ideas into matter.
I really hope you like all of them and that they can find a warm home at last.
